Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Bibliography

The number of pages in the articles in this journal is at least 8 pages. Every article published in the International Journal Management and Economic (IJME) must comply with the standard rules according to this guide which refers to journals published by Elsevier (www.sciencedirect.com). The journal writing template can be downloaded on the website.

Research Title

The title must be concise and informative, describing the results of the research and the variables, and the relationship between these variables can be seen in the title. The title of the article should be at most 12 words.

Abstract

Abstract is written in English, contains a brief description of the importance of research, research objectives, methodology, main results and conclusions. The abstract contains a summary of the article and contains main ideas that make the reader interested and interested in reading it (eye catching). Under the abstract paragraph, Keywords (keywords) with a maximum of 6 keywords are stated. Keywords that are written must be special and are often used in articles. Keywords will be used for indexing purposes.

Introduction

This section contains background, research reasons, problem formulation, statement of purpose, and organization of writing. The writing does not use subtitles (sub-headings).

Method

This section contains the researchers' steps in conducting research, presented in a complete but concise manner. When carrying out data collection, it must be explained starting from the sampling method to the analysis technique.

Results and Discussion

The results and discussion are expressed in a concise and clear scientific framework obtained, not in the form of rows of data tables or images.

Conclusion

This section is the closing of the article. Conclusions are written without numbers, and presented in paragraph form. The implications and limitations of the research are also presented in the form of paragraphs.


Bibliography

All quotations and references used by the authors must be presented in this section in a consistent manner with the text, figures or tables quoted. Bibliography is written in alphabetical order according to the first letter of the author's name. The authors referred to are in accordance with the bibliography provided.

Articles

  1. Title: The title must describe the subject of the manuscript adequately, clearly, precisely and not be multi-interpreted. Please suggest a title if needed.
  2. Abstract: The abstract must briefly state the purpose of the research, the methods used, the results, and the main conclusions. Please note that the abstract is the most read part of the paper.
  3. Review of References: Authors should give credit towards the contributions of others who are relevant to the article through citations. The citations in the introduction must be able to show the innovation and/or newness that the author has done through gap analysis. Quotations/citations should not be excessive.
  4. Purpose: The purpose of the article review must be well explained and will be able to answer the hypothesis.
  5. Method: The method used to achieve the objective must be spelled out precisely and in sufficient detail to enable the competent reader to repeat the author's work. The tools, materials, hardware/software platforms and frameworks used in the research also need to be explained.
    Clarity: Authors must write method information and research results in articles in a simple, concise and effective manner so that readers can easily understand them.
  6. Delivery organization: Manuscripts should develop/explain the research subject in a logical and effective manner.
  7. Duplication: The manuscript does not repeat the explanation of the work that has been published by the author or other people. Check whether the manuscript can be shortened without losing content by combining two or more tables and figures. Reviewers can provide several comments if there are duplications in the text.
  8. Calculations: In a few randomly selected cases, the Reviewer checks to see if you can verify the calculations made by the author.
  9. Connection of Text with Tables and Figures: All tables and figures must be referred to in text/paragraphs. Statements in the text must match the contents of the tables and figures.
    Table and Figure Titles: The title should state the content. Please suggest to improve the quality of table/image titles.
  10. Titles in Tables/Captions: interpretations must be clear and unequivocal and use the correct SI units.
  11. Graphics: Data for presenting graphs/images must be accurate.
  12. Conclusion: The conclusion to answer the hypothesis must be stated adequately and clearly and must be supported by data and testing.
  13. Conjecture: Authors must clearly distinguish between conjecture and fact.
  14. References: All references in the manuscript must be listed in the Bibliography. Referrals number at least 10 with 60% being primary references (scientific journals, proceedings articles, reference books, thesis/thesis/dissertation) and published no later than the last 5 (five) years.
