This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach, where work facilities and work motivation are treated as independent variables, while employee performance is the dependent variable. The population of this study consisted of all employees of the CBC Clinic BSD branch, and the sample used was a saturated sample involving the entire population, namely 30 employees. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The research results show that there is no significant influence between work facilities on employee performance at the CBC Clinic BSD branch. This indicates that although existing work facilities may be important for creating a comfortable work environment, these facilities are not enough to directly influence employee performance. Apart from that, the research results also revealed that work motivation did not have a significant influence on employee performance when tested partially. These findings indicate that there are other factors outside of work facilities and motivation that play a more important role in determining employee performance at the clinic. Therefore, it is recommended that the management of the CBC Clinic BSD branch consider a more holistic approach in improving employee performance by paying attention to other factors that may be more significant.
2024-09-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal Management and Economic http://journal.admi.or.id/index.php/IJME/article/view/1616 THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AND MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT. Cahaya Abadi Painting. Using a quantitative research approach, data was collected from 60 employees within the company's Sample Room Department Development division. The study employed multiple linear regression analysis to assess the impact of the independent variables leadership style and work motivation on the dependent variable, employee performance. The findings indicate that while leadership style has a positive, albeit not significant, effect on employee performance, work motivation shows a strong and significant positive effect. The combined influence of leadership style and work motivation accounts for a substantial proportion of the variance in employee performance, suggesting that both factors are crucial in optimizing workforce productivity. These results are consistent with previous studies that highlight the pivotal role of motivation in enhancing employee performance. However, the limited impact of leadership style observed in this context suggests the need for further investigation into other organizational factors that may mediate or moderate this relationship.
2024-09-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal Management and Economic http://journal.admi.or.id/index.php/IJME/article/view/1632 THE EFFECT OF COMPETENCE, COMPENSATION AND MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE HEAD OFFICE PT. Data analyzed using SPSS 19.00 reveal that both Commitment and Communication have a simultaneous impact on Job Satisfaction. Detailed analysis shows that Commitment significantly correlates with Job Satisfaction, as does Communication. However, the findings do not entirely validate the overall hypothesis, suggesting that further research is needed to fully understand the combined effect of Commitment and Communication on Job Satisfaction. These insights are crucial for organizational management and human resource strategies aiming to enhance employee Job Satisfaction.
2024-09-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal Management and Economic http://journal.admi.or.id/index.php/IJME/article/view/1639 THE IMPACT OF MOTIVATION AND WORK SKILLS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CREW ABOARD THE MV PEGASUS UNIX 2024-09-03T11:35:54+07:00 Mohamad Arif Guntoro arifguntoro@gmail.com
This study aims to assess the impact of motivation and work ability on the performance of crew members (ABK) aboard the MV Pegasus Unix. Optimal performance of ABK is crucial for the success of ship operations and safety at sea, given the unique challenges and demanding work environment. A quantitative approach is employed in this study using a survey method to collect data from the ship's crew. The hypotheses examined are: (1) The effect of motivation on ABK performance, (2) The effect of work ability on ABK performance, and (3) The combined effect of motivation and work ability on ABK performance. This research is descriptive and quantitative, utilizing questionnaires for data collection. Data analysis is conducted with SPSS, involving descriptive statistical tests, classical tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The study population consists of 71 ABK members from the MV Pegasus Unix in Jakarta. The data analysis results indicate that, individually, both work motivation and work ability impact ABK performance on the MV Pegasus Unix. Additionally, the independent variables (work motivation and work ability) together influence the performance of the ABK on the ship.
2024-09-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal Management and Economic http://journal.admi.or.id/index.php/IJME/article/view/1629 THE IMPACT OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF SHIP CREW MEMBERS (ABK) ABOARD THE MV SINAR PENIDA 2024-08-31T14:56:20+07:00 Destruly Mangatur destrulypasaribu@gmail.com
The performance of the crew (ABK) aboard the MV Sinar Penida is influenced by several factors, including work discipline and the work environment. Effective work discipline is thought to enhance efficiency and quality, while a supportive work environment is expected to boost welfare and job satisfaction. This study seeks to thoroughly assess the impact of work discipline and work environment on crew performance. Employing a descriptive quantitative research approach, this study examines two independent variables—work discipline and work environment—and one dependent variable—work performance. The population under study consists of 65 ABK members from the MV Sinar Penida ship. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS, involving tests for normality, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that work discipline has a significant partial effect on the work performance of the MV Sinar Penida crew, whereas the work environment does not show a significant partial impact. However, both work discipline and work environment together significantly influence the work performance of the crew on the MV Sinar Penida.
2024-09-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal Management and Economic http://journal.admi.or.id/index.php/IJME/article/view/1630 THE IMPACT OF MOTIVATION AND JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT.
