The aim of this research is to determine the influence of fear of missing out on phubbing behavior among adolescent social media users. The sampling techinique uses purposive sampling, the sample is 158 teenage respondents who use social media. The phubbing behavior scale compiled is based on aspects: communication disturbance and phone obsession, the fear of missing out scale compiled in this research is based on aspects: self and relatedness. This research uses a simple regression testing technique using SPSS version 25 for MacOS. The method used in this study was that researchers use qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques that researchers do in the form of online virtual interviews and observations of sources and informants. This research uses the theory of Cognitivism by Jean Piaget. Phrasal verbs have four types based on Workman’s theory (1995). Therefore, this present research is aimed at finding the types of phrasal verbs in a series entitled “Young Sheldon”, season 02, episode 01. Qualitative research is applied in order to analyze the data. The result showed that there are ten (10) phrasal verbs. The research was conducted by analyzing evidence from the dialogue and Khan’s actions in the Movie. The writer used the descriptive-qualitative method in this paper. The writer employs himself to collect the data by reading the script, watching the Movie, and marking it. The objectives of the study are to understand and to describe the characteristics of Khan’s character in relationship. The result shows that the main character of Khan as an Asperger sufferer is depicted psychologically. He is a loving man, honest, and tolerant, Khan is a simple Muslim who helps anyone without looking at the race, religion, and ethnicity of people whom he helps. He never shows any hatred toward the non-Muslim community. He believes that real brotherhood will only be possible to be implemented if people respect each other. The problem of this research is what subtitling strategies are used in Clash-A-Rama animation season 1 Episode 1,2 and 8? The aim of this research is to find out subtitling strategies used in Clash-A-Rama Animation Season 1 Episode 1, 2 and 8. In order to conduct the research, the researcher used qualitative research method. The researcher used 379 utterances from Clash-A-Rama Animation Season 1 Episode 1, 2 and 8 as the data.&nbsp; The result of the research showed that some of the utterances used more than one subtitling strategy and all of subtitling strategies are found in this research. The researcher only analyzed in early 30 minutes out of 93 minutes randomly. The problem of this research is what the subtitle strategies used in the Taken movie are. The objective of this research is to find out the subtitling strategies contained in Taken movie using Gottlieb’s theory. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. Moreover, Searle (1979) theory about illocutionary acts is applied to analyze the data. The results revealed that there are 42 data found namely Assertive with 26 data, Commissive with 4 data, Directive with 3 data, and Expressive with 9 data. Through the results, it clearly stated that the most used illocutionary acts in the BabyMonster’s song entitled “Stuck In The Middle” is Assertive with 26 data. The result inferred that Assertive, the illocutionary acts used most in the song, expressed that the speaker informed about the speaker’s experiences.
