RELEVANSI PRINSIP RESPOSIBLE TO PROTECT PADA KONFLIK RUSIA-UKRAINA

Invasi Rusia ke Ukraina terjadi pada 24 Februari 2022 dan memicu berbagai respons internasional. Dilaporkan bahwa Rusia telah melakukan kejahatan perang dan kemanusiaan, hingga terjadi krisis kemanusiaan di Ukraina. Muncul argumen tentang prinsip Responsibility to Protect (R2P). Namun hal ini masih menjadi kontroversi di kancah internasional dan memerlukan komitmen dan konsensus kuat dari komunitas internasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui relevansi prinsip R2P terhadap konflik Rusia-Ukraina. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena ini secara detail dan akurat, dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder seperti artikel jurnal, laporan, dan data publik lainnya yang tersedia dari internet. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa R2P tidak relevan dan tidak dapat diterapkan di Ukraina karena berbagai hal.
