Studi kasus Leiomoma Apoplektik : Morfologi Tidak Biasa dari Leiomioma yang Menyerupai Keganasan

Leiomioma apoplektik merupakan tumor jinak mesenkimal asal sel otot polos miometrium yang mengalami perubahan degenerasi hemoragik akibat paparan hormon progesterone. Tidak banyak perhatian yang ditujukan terhadap leiomioma apoplektik, namun tumor ini memiliki spektrum morfologi yang luas dan seringkali menimbulkan kesalahan diagnosis, terutama dengan keganasan. Kami melaporkan kasus seorang wanita usia 34 tahun, postpartum dengan leiomioma uteri multipel yang mengandung fokus nekrotik dan bekuan darah pada bagian sentral. Pendekatan teoritis mengenai leiomioma apoplektik menjadi penting mengingat kemiripan morfologi dari tumor ini dengan leiomyosarcoma dan smooth muscle tumors of uncertain malignant potential yang merupakan diagnosis banding dari neoplasia ini.
