Post Publication

1. General Policy

International Journal Science and Technology (IJST) encourages constructive scientific discussion and critical evaluation of published research to promote academic transparency, research integrity, and the continuous development of scientific knowledge.

The journal recognizes post-publication discussion as an important component of scholarly communication and scientific quality assurance.

2. Post-Publication Comments and Feedback

Readers, researchers, authors, and other interested parties may submit comments, questions, or scientific critiques concerning articles published in IJST.

Comments should be evidence-based, academically relevant, respectful, and focused on the scientific content, methodology, findings, or interpretation of the published research.

3. Submission of Post-Publication Discussions

Post-publication comments and discussions may be submitted to the IJST editorial office through the official communication channels listed on the journal's website.

Submissions should clearly identify the relevant article, including its title, authors, publication year, and DOI, where available.

The editorial board may request supporting evidence or additional clarification before considering the submitted comments.

4. Editorial Evaluation and Author Response

The editorial board will evaluate submitted comments to determine their scientific relevance, accuracy, and appropriateness.

When necessary, the corresponding author of the published article may be invited to provide a response or clarification.

The journal may facilitate scholarly exchanges between readers and authors to address legitimate scientific questions or concerns.

5. Corrections and Research Integrity

If post-publication discussions identify significant errors, methodological concerns, or potential research misconduct, the editorial board will assess the matter according to the journal's publication ethics policies.

Depending on the findings, appropriate actions may include:

  • Publishing an author clarification or response.

  • Issuing a correction.

  • Publishing an expression of concern.

  • Initiating an investigation into potential research misconduct.

  • Retracting an article when justified by the evidence.

Editorial actions will follow applicable publication ethics principles and relevant Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidance.

6. Transparency and Academic Responsibility

IJST is committed to maintaining fair, transparent, and responsible post-publication discussions.

All participants are expected to uphold academic integrity, respect intellectual contributions, and avoid defamatory statements, personal attacks, or unsupported allegations.

The editorial board reserves the right to decline or moderate submissions that do not meet these standards.
